Who handles your data?

The data controller is KápiFiveSome Kft., 1239 Budapest, Virágvölgy utca 24/A.

What we collect and why

When you fill in the contact form, or email or call us, we handle:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number, if you give it
• whatever you write in your message, such as herd size or where your farm is

We use this to answer your question and to record and arrange your preorder. We don’t send newsletters, and we never sell your data.

Legal basis

• Preorders and quote requests: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• Other questions: our legitimate interest in answering you (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Giving your phone number is optional. Without an email address and a message we can’t reply to you.

How long we keep it

For as long as we’re in touch about your question or preorder, and for at most one year after that. Resend, which delivers the form to our inbox, deletes its copy after 30 days. If we enter into a contract, Hungarian accounting law requires us to keep invoicing records for 8 years. We’ll delete your data sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Who can access it

Only we, the founders of Green Fodder, have access to your data. The following providers process it on our behalf:

• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting this website, running the contact form in its Frankfurt data centre, and visitor statistics
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA): delivering form submissions to our inbox by email
• our email provider: storing our emails

Vercel and Resend are certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which covers transfers of data to the United States. Their data processing agreements also include the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Visitor statistics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It works without third-party cookies: visitors are told apart by a code computed from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. For each page view it records:

• the page address and the page you came from
• country, region and city
• device type, operating system and browser

We only see totals, and we can’t identify you from them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The statistics stay available to us for 12 months.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own hosting. Our hosting provider may keep technical logs (such as IP address, time and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you which of your data we hold (access)
• correct inaccurate data (rectification)
• delete your data (erasure)
• limit how we use your data (restriction)
• give you your data in a machine-readable format (portability)

You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest, including the visitor statistics. Send your request to greenfodder@kapi5.hu; we’ll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, please write to us first. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9; phone: +36 1 391 1400; email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; naih.hu. You may also take the matter to court.

If the way we handle data changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
